If the wind is blowing from the south, making the other anchorages unsettled, it is still possible to head out into the bay, rather than rescheduling your day. The Lazarette at Peel Island is very well protected from winds from the southeast to the southwest.
This is a fishing area and guests always manage to catch some fish here. We have three rods on board for you to use.
While swimming is not recommended on this side of Peel Island, enjoy the sail over, then relax on board for lunch, sunbathing or fishing and then enjoy a sail home.
If the wind is not too strong, sometimes we head around to the swimming side of Peel Island for a swim off the yacht, out from Horseshoe Bay, before lunch and fishing at the Lazarette, or we go instead to the Bird Islet Sandbar.
